3. Quotations and Pricing
Any quotation provided by Farnham Jetting and Drainage is an estimate based on the information available at the time. Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
Final pricing may vary from the original quotation if additional issues are discovered or additional work is required beyond the original scope. We will notify you of any changes before proceeding with additional work wherever possible.
All prices are quoted inclusive of VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise. For commercial clients, VAT will be added to the final invoice at the prevailing rate.
4. Bookings and Appointments
When you book a service with us, you are entering into a contract for the provision of drainage services. We will confirm your appointment by phone or email.
We will make every reasonable effort to attend appointments at the agreed time. Due to the nature of emergency call-out work, we may occasionally need to adjust appointment times and will notify you as soon as possible.
Please ensure access to the relevant drainage areas is available at the time of the appointment. If we cannot access the site due to reasons within your control, we reserve the right to charge a call-out fee.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of the work unless a separate credit account arrangement has been agreed in writing in advance.
We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, or card. Details of accepted payment methods will be provided on your invoice.
For commercial clients, invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We reserve the right to withhold completion of services or refuse further work until any outstanding amounts are settled.
6. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us as soon as possible.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover our costs.
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone appointments in circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, vehicle breakdown, or staff illness.

9. Liability
We will take all reasonable care when carrying out our services. However, drainage work can sometimes reveal pre-existing problems that were not apparent before work began. We are not liable for damage caused by such pre-existing conditions.
Our liability for any loss or damage arising from the services we provide is limited to the value of the services provided under the relevant contract.
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss, including loss of income, loss of profit, or business interruption, howsoever caused.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Guarantees and Workmanship
We stand behind the quality of our work. Where a defect arises directly from our workmanship within a reasonable period following completion, we will return to investigate and, where appropriate, rectify the issue at no additional charge.
This guarantee does not cover issues arising from pre-existing conditions, misuse, third-party interference, or factors outside our control.
11. Damage to Property
We will take reasonable precautions to protect your property during our work. In the event of accidental damage as a direct result of our negligence, please notify us promptly and we will investigate and address the issue appropriately.
We are not responsible for damage to hidden pipes, underground infrastructure, or concealed structures unless we were advised of their presence prior to commencing work.

Our team operates in compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations. We ask that customers ensure a safe working environment for our staff. If our engineers believe a site is unsafe, they may decline to commence or continue work until appropriate safety measures are in place.
